Nigerian singers are promoting their country by putting it on the world music stage for the All-Star weekend.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) said on Wednesday that three Nigerian megastars will participate during the NBA All-Star Game 2023 Halftime Show.

Jewel will sing the National Anthem, while Fast X actor Vin Diesel will introduce the players for the recently chosen NBA All-Stars.

The three Afrobeats superstars and Post Malone will perform a combination of songs to kick off the event.

The league will also honour LeBron James for breaking the scoring record two weeks ago. When the NBA requested DJ Khaled to perform at the halftime show last year, he did so while also inviting Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Migos, Lil Baby, and Gunna to do the same.

A wide variety of musicians, including Janelle Monae, 21 Savage, Cordae, Ozuna, Kane Brown, Nicky Jam, and others, will perform at the concert this year.
