Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored both goals in Olympique de Marseille's (2-0) victory over Nantes at the Stade Vélodrome, propelling them to seventh position.

Coach Jean-Louis Gasset has changed Marseille, winning all five games since coming over last month and scoring an astonishing 18 goals.

Aubameyang, who celebrates his goals with somersaults, takes full advantage. The former Gabonese striker for Arsenal and Barcelona has eight goals under Gasset.

Aubameyang collected a cross from Senegalese winger Ismaïla Sarr to give Marseillais the lead in the 17th. Sarr was again involved in the 79th minute, when Aubameyang beat goalkeeper Alban Lafont on his second attempt to score his second goal of the game.

Aubameyang leads Olympique Marseille in scoring with 23 goals, including 11 in the league, and he is playing well before fierce rivals PSG visit on March 31.
