The Title Match Between Usyk And Fury Has Been Rescheduled For May 18 In Saudi Arabia
The battle between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury for the undisputed world heavyweight title has been moved to May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
Queensberry Promotions announced the bout on X, previously Twitter on Saturday, a day after it was postponed due to Fury suffering a nasty gash above his right eye while sparring in Riyadh.
The fight was supposed to take place in two weeks. It is the second time the bout has been postponed, following a cancellation in December.
Ukrainian Usyk is the WBA, IBF and WBO champion. Britain Fury holds the WBC belt.
The winner will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000.
