You studied biology, so what inspired your pivot into the digital space, and specifically, TikTok?

It all started when I realized the sheer power of digital platforms and their ability to connect people. TikTok, with its incredible potential for creative expression and its massive, global reach, captivated me. I saw an opportunity not just to share my own story, but to help others unlock their potential and build something truly lasting in the digital world.

When did you start creating content on TikTok, and what was the platform like back then?

Tell us about the moment the "Boost" concept was born. What was the inspiration behind it?

It all came together in 2021 when I saw how hard it was for smaller businesses and creators to get noticed. That's when I decided to create instructional content on TikTok, teaching people how to thrive on the platform. My followers started asking me questions in my live broadcasts, and before I knew it, I had an entire community eager for more. The “Boost” concept was born out of the need to give creators the exposure and recognition they deserved.

You got discovered by TikTok France in 2021. Can you tell us how it happened?

Oh, that was a game-changer! I was in shock but also beyond honored. My manager messaged me about an unexpected video call from the TikTok team in Germany. That moment felt like validation for all my hard work, and it pushed me to keep going further.

As a Cameroonian content creator, what’s your vision for improving the TikTok landscape in Africa?

Africa is bursting with talent, and it’s high time creators from Cameroon and other African countries get the recognition they deserve. I’m working to partner with TikTok to spread awareness about best practices and opportunities. I also want to establish a local program to help African creators monetize their content and professionalize their work, just like creators do in Europe and America.
